Thanks, Tracy. 1099s are another important end of year task. I think we’ll ask our resident tax expert Maesz to do an updated 1099 instruction post!

All of your suggestions in this post are great! I have one to add (because I just did this today and it’s on my radar). ;-)

If your business subcontracts, make sure those individuals have provided you with updated W-9 forms. Forms like the 1099 / 1096 must be filed by (I believe) the end of February 2015.
